Tell us about yourself
My name is Laska, I've been enjoying my work as an esthetician for nine years now. I chose the Intro to Esthetics program because of my love for cosmetology and interest in the beauty industry. After the program, I took the initiative to start my own esthetics side business.
What did you enjoy about the program?
The teaching style of my mentor, Ammanda, played a huge role in my success. She was so down-to-earth, spoke in understandable terms, and her experienced techniques were easily absorbed. She made our program so fun and inclusive which helped me get hired even before the course ended.
Ammanda's continuous efforts to keep me updated with new services always made me feel confident and special.

"Learn as much as you can. Emit positivity and always be open to trying and learning new things. It's not just about beautifying people's physical appearances, but also about making them feel better about themselves."
What’s your long-term goal?
My goal is to get the esthetics diploma to expand my business. Even though I'm already practicing esthetics, there's always room for growth and new learning. My ever-growing passion for this industry stimulates my ambition for continuous improvement.
