Ammanda Travels to Quebec City representing Yukon on the National Technical Comittee for Skills Canada

About the Event

The Skills Canada National Competition is a highly esteemed event, honouring and showcasing the extraordinary talents of the best in our trade industries. Participants from all corners of Canada will demonstrate their expertise and participate in competitions at a national level.

As a member of the National Technical Committee, Ammanda, our Academy president, will help to facilitate the competition. Her responsibility involves planning the event, managing the setup, coaching the esteemed participants, judging the contest, and overseeing the wrap-up procedures.

She will be involved in every facet of the competition, exponentially enhancing her network with tradespeople nationwide. From this interactive engagement with the remarkable tradespeople at the event, Ammanda hopes to bring back wisdom to benefit our institution.
